Sending prospect intake links
Create a per-prospect link that lets someone self-complete a headline intake, with no login, which becomes a runnable plan in your book.
An intake link is a tokenized, per-prospect web link you send to someone you'd like to bring on as a client. They open it, fill out a short headline questionnaire with round numbers, and submit. No account or login is required. On submit, FIREproof builds a runnable, advisor-managed plan in your Book of clients.
Creating a link
- Open the Sidebar and choose Prospect intake links.
- Optionally pre-fill the prospect's name and email (helps you track who's who; the prospect can still complete it).
- Click Create, then copy the link and send it however you like (email, text, your scheduling tool).
What the prospect fills in
The form captures a deliberate headline subset, enough to produce a sane first plan, in about 8 to 15 minutes of round numbers:
- Names & birth years (primary, plus an optional spouse) and a target retirement age.
- An optional email. If the prospect supplies one, you can invite them to claim the plan later without re-collecting it.
- One balance per account type (Traditional/Roth IRA, 401k/403b, HSA, Brokerage, Cash/Savings).
- Base annual living expenses and a few major one-off expenses.
- Income flows, with Social Security and pensions highlighted, plus any jobs or side income, and debts.
What happens on submit
- FIREproof creates an advisor-managed client and a full runnable simulation, gap-filling sensible defaults (a default glide allocation, free-tier market series, and a default tax state) so it runs immediately.
- You're notified by email, and the new plan appears under Prospects in your Book of clients, flagged as a new intake.
- The prospect sees a friendly "your planner will be in touch" confirmation.
