Minimalist View
Switch the inputs page into a compact wizard-style stepper with one-line rows.
Minimalist View is an opt-in display setting that replaces the default five-tab inputs page with a compact eight-step wizard. Each input is rendered as a one-line row instead of a card, and the Inflows / Outflows tab is split into separate Income, Expenses, Real Estate, and Tax Strategy steps.
How to turn it on
- Click the user / settings icon in the top-right.
- In the Settings modal, check the box labeled Minimalist View.
- Click Save. The inputs page re-renders immediately — no refresh required.
What changes
- The horizontal five-tab strip becomes a numbered stepper with eight steps.
- The Inflows / Outflows tab is split into four sibling steps: Income, Expenses, Real Estate, Tax Strategy.
- Each adjustment shows as a one-line row instead of a multi-line card.
- Clicking any row opens the same edit modal you used before.
- The Run button moves to a fixed position next to the stepper so it's always one click away.
What does NOT change
- No simulation behavior changes. Same inputs, same calculation engine, same outputs.
- No data is migrated. Your existing plans are untouched.
- The edit modals are identical — only the list surface in the inputs page is different.
How to turn it off
Open the Settings modal again and uncheck Minimalist View. The five-tab layout is restored immediately. The setting is per-user; toggling it does not affect anyone else who shares your plan.
Tip
If you previously had the Inflows / Outflows tab selected when you turned Minimalist View on, you'll land on the Income sub-step. Use the stepper's Prev / Next arrows below to walk through the wizard in order, or click any step directly to jump.
